So What Exactly Does the Pre-Order Offer? What's the Advantage?
Pre-Ordering reserves your birds ahead of time and allows us to know how many chicks to order and raise per batch. We want to make sure that we are meeting the expectations of our customers and providing the best experience possible in order for you to source your meat locally.
Exactly how does the Pre-Ordering Process work?
A non-refundable deposit is required to hold your whole pasture-raised chickens or cuts. The remainder of the balance is due on the day of pick-up based upon the weight of your selected birds or the cut bundles selected.
PRE-ORDER OPTIONS
- Purchase 1-4 Whole Chickens -
$10 deposit per chicken. **Indicate the quantity of birds desired in the dropdown for this pre-order option.
- Purchase a Whole Chicken Bundle -
$50 deposit per bundle. The Whole Chicken Bundle is 5 birds totaling on average 24-30 pounds per bundle. The final price will be calculated based off the final weight of the bundle. When you purchase a whole chicken bundle, a 5% discount will be given off your total at the time of invoicing/pickup!
- Purchase a Pasture Raised Cut Bundle -
$25 deposit per bundle. We are now offering 3 bundle options for pre-ordering our Pasture Raised chickens by the cut!
1. The Family - $120
- 4 packs of breasts (8 breasts total ≈ 5-6 lbs)
- 1 pack of tenders (8 tenders total ≈ 1 - 1.25 lbs)
- 2 pack of thighs (8 bone-in, skin-on thighs ≈ 3 lbs)
- 2 pack of drumsticks (8 drumsticks total ≈ 3 lbs)
2. The Couple - $55
- 2 packs of breasts (4 breasts total ≈ 3 lbs)
- 1 pack of thighs (4 bone-in, skin-on thighs ≈ 1.50 lbs)
- 1 pack of drumsticks (4 drumsticks total ≈ 1.50 lbs)
3. The Everything - $135
- 1 whole chicken (≈ 5-6 lbs)
- 2 packs of breasts (4 breasts total ≈ 3 lbs)
- 1 pack of tenders (8 tenders total ≈ 1 - 1.25 lbs)
- 1 pack of thighs (4 bone-in, skin-on thighs ≈ 1.50 lbs)
- 2 packs of drumsticks (8 drumsticks total ≈ 2.5-3 lbs)
- 1 pack of wings (16 wings total ≈ 3-4 lbs)
- 1 Bone Broth Kit (includes chicken back, feet, wing tips, and neck)
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
- Our whole pasture-raised chickens will range between 4 to 6 pounds.
- The price per pound on whole chickens is $5.75/lb.
- The price per pound on cuts ranges from $6-$14 per pound. By ordering one of our cut bundles you will be getting an overall savings on the average price per pound!
- When placing your order, please leave a note on the desired weight range of your chicken in the comments section (we can not guarantee the weight of your chicken but will do our best to accomodate your requests!):

- Currently accepting pre-orders for Spring season. These batches will process and be delivered in April/May. Orders are filled in the order in which they were received. You will receive an e-mail with final invoice and pickup instructions when your chicken is ready for pickup!
**Due to an increase in processing fees, there will be an additional 2.9% added to all final balances paid by credit card or 1.9% if paid by business Venmo. Please be sure to select your desired payment option for remaining balance/installment payments below. This selection does NOT apply for your deposit payment (no additional fee will be charged on deposits - only balance invoices due at the time of pickup.)
