This scholarship was established to honor the life and legacy of Carrie B. Horne and her many years in the field of Education. It will be awarded to a High School Senior who has been accepted to a 4-year college or university and has established intent to pursue a career in the field of Education. Additionally, the student’s GPA must be between 3.0 – 3.49 on a 4.0 grading scale. Evidence of community involvement and extra-curricular activities is also required and must be submitted on letterhead.
