    Head Chef
  • A Head Chef at Mamas Ktchn Is responsible for the management of
    preparing food at a specific station on site and prior to the event in addition to
    mentoring the Jr Chef – this is a leadership role and will be suited to an individual
    who is creative, can work well under pressure and has a high standard in presentation
    and delivery of service.

  • Duties include:
     Maintaining standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.
     Ensuring compliance with applicable health codes and regulations.
     Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring equipment is up to standard
     Preparing and cooking food for event
     Ensuring taste is correct, being innovative and creating recipes
    Requirements
     Level 2 food hygiene certificate (we can provide training if needed)
     Ability to work under pressure
     Excellent communication skills
     Organisational skills
     Cleanliness, high standard of hygiene
     Knowledge of plant based and organic wholefood.
