Arts Undergraduate Improvement Fund Application
The Arts Undergraduate Improvement Fund Committee (AUIFC) allocates approximately $250 000 annually towards beneficial capital improvements and their one-time installation costs. Groups associated with The Faculty of Arts are eligible to apply.Important notes on eligibility criteria and applications for the Arts Undergraduate Improvement Fund (AUIF): 1. Fund monies shall be used only to add value to the tools and resources in the Faculty of Arts and at McGill University which are used by Arts Undergraduate Students (AUIFC By-laws, Article 8.6). 2. Only Capital improvements (and their shipping and installation costs) are eligible for funding (AUIFC By-laws, Article 8.6 and Background). 3. The AUIFC has broad discretion over funding allocation and interpretation of the AUIFC By-laws. If you feel that the eligibility criteria are unclear or would like a concrete example of projects the AUIFC has funded in previous years, please contact the AUS VP Finance. Describe the broad intention/purpose of your proposal in the first section of the application. In the first section, list the total cost of your proposal. In the second section, break-down your proposal by item needed to realize the proposal. The total cost requested in the first section should equal the total cost of the items listed in the second section. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
