We are an in-home boarding service, meaning we operate out of a home in a happy, pet-friendly neighborhood. Setting the right expectations is important to us. Our guests appreciate the cozy, home environment this provides, and we're here to make your pet's stay safe, comfortable, and enjoyable.

Our registration and vaccination form below helps us learn more about you and your furry family member(s). The more we know about your pet, the better care we can provide. Please share important details about their health, behavior, and daily routines so we can ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

At Boarding Buddy, we believe in transparency. As a small, in-home business, our focus is always on the pets currently in our care. While we strive to provide excellent communication, there may be times when responses are slightly delayed while we are actively caring for guests.

Photo and video updates are available upon request, and we often share updates without prompting. However, depending on the number of guests, updates may not always be immediate. You're always welcome to call or text us at any time for updates.

Please allow approximately 10 minutes for the drop-off process. While many arrivals are quick, we kindly ask for patience, as we may be assisting other guests at the same time.

All drop-offs and pick-ups are scheduled by appointment only.

By signing this Release Waiver and choosing to utilize Boarding Buddy, participate in Boarding Buddy activities, and or board my pet(s) at Boarding Buddy, LLC, I agree to the following:
Pet Boarding Agreement & Liability Waiver

1. Health & Vaccination Certification - I certify that my pet is in good health, free of contagious illness, and current on all vaccinations required by Boarding Buddy, LLC. I understand my pet will be inspected upon arrival. If fleas, ticks, or illness are found, Boarding Buddy, LLC may treat the pet or isolate them at my expense.

2. In-Home Environment & Social Risk - I acknowledge that Boarding Buddy, LLC is an in-home boarding environment. I understand that:

a) Dogs may interact in a group setting where unpredictable behavior, minor injuries (scratches/nicks), or illness can occur.
b) The environment includes normal household noises and activities.
c) I voluntarily assume all risks associated with social boarding and communal play.

3. Emergency Veterinary Authorization - If my pet requires medical attention and I cannot be reached, I authorize Boarding Buddy, LLC to seek veterinary care, transport my pet, and approve treatment. I agree to be solely responsible for all veterinary costs incurred. Boarding Buddy, LLC is not liable for decisions made in good faith regarding my pet's medical care.

4. Responsibility for Damages - Iam financially responsible for any damage or injury my pet causes to people, other animals, or property. This includes, but is not limited to, medical bills and repair costs.

5. Release of Liability (The Waiver) - To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, I release and hold harmless Boarding Buddy, LLC and its representatives from any liability for injury, illness, escape, or death of my pet, including those resulting from ordinary negligence. This waiver does not apply to instances of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6. Abandonment Policy - If my pet is not picked up within five (5) days of the scheduled date and I am unreachable, Boarding Buddy, LLC may transfer the pet to animal control or a rescue organization in accordance with Florida law. I remain responsible for all costs until the transfer.

7. Communication Consent - I consent to receive updates via SMS, iMessage, WhatsApp, or phone calls regarding my pet’s stay. I understand that standard messaging rates may apply and I can opt-out by texting "STOP."

8. Governing Law & Venue - This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be settled exclusively in the courts of Leon County, Florida.
