VENDOR APPLICATION FORM

This application is for businesses interested in Legacy Architectural Salvage's 2024 Spring Market, to be held on Saturday, May 4 from 9:00AM-2:00PM. This outdoor market will be held at Legacy Architectural Salvage (1831-B Dawson Street, in the back warehouse portion of Stevens Ace Hardware). Applications are due by Monday, February 26 at 5PM.

Note: This application does not ensure your acceptance into the Legacy Architectural Salvage Spring Market. Accepted vendors will be contacted on Monday, March 4.

EVENT: Legacy Architectural Salvage's 2024 Spring Market

DATE: Saturday, May 4, 2024

TIME: 9:00AM-2:00PM

LOCATION: 1831-B Dawson Street (behind Stevens Ace Hardware)

VENDOR FEE: The vendor fee for a 10x10 booth is $60. Vendor fees are due within 7 days of acceptance into the market (i.e., close of business on Monday, March 11). Failure to pay your booth fee within 7 days will result in the forfeit of your booth. Your booth is not reserved until payment is made. A request for payment and further instructions will be sent upon application approval. Vendor fees support Historic Wilmington Foundation, a 501(c)3 dedicated to preserving and protecting the irreplaceable historic resources of Wilmington and the Lower Cape Fear region. 

SET-UP & TEAR-DOWN: Vendors are responsible for supplying their own display (including a tent), as well as set-up and tear-down. Set-up begins at 8AM. Vendors must be set up from 9:00AM to 2:00PM. Tear-down must be completed by 3:00PM. 

TENT: Vendors are required to have a tent and tent weights for their booth. Failure to provide a tent on the day of the market will result in removal from the market and loss of vendor fee. 

PARKING: Vendors are required to park in the Food Lion parking lot, located across Dawson Street at 1929 Oleander Drive. 

WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY:  This market is a rain or shine event. If you elect not to participate due to weather, your vendor fee is nonrefundable. 

Promotion

Legacy Architectural Salvage will promote vendors prior to the upcoming market. In order to do so, please provide us with your business's social media handles. If you do not have up-to-date photos of your wares online, please plan to share some with the market coordinator by emailing markets@historicwilmington.org. You are required to promote the market on your own social media platforms. Failure to do so will result in declined applications for future markets. 

Promoting the 2024 Spring Market

Vendors must commit to promoting Legacy Architectural Salvage's market on their social media platforms. This ensures a robust attendance, and thus a successful market day for all involved. Failure to participate in marketing efforts will result in declined applications for all future markets.

Waiver of Liability Agreement

I waive and release any and all claims that I may have against the Historic Wilmington Foundation, its members, volunteers, employees, sponsors, including all claims for damage caused by the negligence of any of them, arising out of my participation in events and related activities, together with any costs, including attorney fees, that may be incurred as a result of any such claim whether valid or not. I will indemnify and hold harmless those released and each of them against any such claim that I or any minors accompanying me or my guests or anyone or more of my or their executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, or assigns may have or assert and against any costs, including attorneys’ fees with respect thereto.
