Recommenders
All applicants are required to submit recommendations electronically.
- One (1) recommendation letter from a current or former professor, teacher and/internal or external verifiers supervisor, business leader, etc., stamped and/or signed recommending the applicant for the scholarship; and
- One (1) recommendation letter from a current or previous employer stamped and/or signed wherever applicable; OR
- One (1) recommendation letter from a reputable person in the community stamped and/or signed (Pastor/Priest, Senior Public Servant etc.) if unemployed or never employed.
The recommenders must attest to the applicant's ability to perform and to succeed by providing relevant and practical examples where applicable. They must also describe what contribution the applicant will make and the likely impact the applicant will have on the institution/community/country.
Recommendations must be signed, scanned, and uploaded to the online application. Only scanned copies of the signed recommendations will be accepted.
