Energy Conservation Works is proud to uphold the long history of the Jackson EcoFair, providing a platform for members of the Jackson Hole community and beyond to showcase their work and dedication to sustainability. The first EcoFair took place at the Murie Ranch in Grand Teton National Park in 2003 - twenty years later we are excited to continue to celebrate simple and sustainable living in the Tetons by way of this special springtime event.
Participants can expect the same fun, educational, and entertaining platform EcoFair has always provided, with an renewed appreciation for our community members and the value of the special place that we call home. We ask that our EcoFair participants consider several things when planning their presence at EcoFair 2023:
- How do your efforts in sustainability and/or environmental stewardship impact your community, your employees, your friends and family, and your vision for the future?
- What more can you do?
- How can you inspire others?
- How can we all elevate the impact of EcoFair?
Please complete this application in order to help us understand your motivation and goals for participating in this event. You may be asked additional questions as part of your approval. Our approach is intended to inspire everyone who is a part of EcoFair to take both the time to consider their impact and the opportunity to be a part of a direct message about a healthy future.
All businesses, organizations, groups, or individuals applying to participate in EcoFair 2023 must read and be familiar with the Jackson EcoFair Policies & Procedures and Go Eco! Guidelines prior to submitting an application.

2023 registration fees include carbon offsets for your participation in EcoFair. Purchasing carbon offsets funds the work of projects all over the country that are restoring the climate balance. Some offset projects are growing living things that capture carbon. Others are preventing the greenhouse gases from escaping in the first place, by doing things like producing clean wind energy instead of coal-fired energy or capturing the methane from landfills. EcoFair host Energy Conservation Works purchases carbon offsets through the Good Traveler Program, managed by the Rocky Mountain Institute. All Rocky Mountain Institute projects are certified by authorities like those that certify organic food, so we can be sure that we are supporting good work.
