Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona is seeking mentors for the participants of the pilot of a brand new entrepreneurship program, GS adVENTUREs!
Mentors will have the amazing experience of watching these budding entrepreneurs learn and grow, while guiding them along the way!
Mentor Expectations:
- Attend a Zoom training with Allyson Israel, Entrepreneurship Program Manager – (Date/Time TBD).
- Commit to attend at least 6 in-person sessions.
- Mentors are welcome to attend all meetings and field trips.
- Allyson will provide info about which session are most crucial for mentors to attend.
- Weekly meetings are in person, Mondays OR Wednesdays evenings (EXACT DAYS AND TIMES TBD) at the Girl Scouts of Southern AZ Campus (Broadway and Columbus).
- Commit to attend the Pitch It! competetion at the end of the program.
- Abide by the Girl Scout Volunteer Code of Conduct (explained in training)
- Follow the safety ratios and rules found in the most current GSUSA Safety Activity Checkpoints (explained in training)
- Agree to a full background check (as part of being a registered GS volunteer)
- Your volunteer GS membership and background check will be paid for by the GS adVENTUREs program.
