adVENTUREs Mentor Sign Up

Mentors will have the amazing experience of watching these budding entrepreneurs learn and grow, while guiding them along the way!

Mentor Expectations:

Attend a Zoom training with Allyson Israel, Entrepreneurship Program Manager – (Wed. Jan. 29 @ 5:30pm).
Commit to attend at least 6 in-person sessions.
- Mentors are welcome to attend all meetings and field trips.
- Allyson will provide info about which session are most crucial for mentors to attend.
- Weekly meetings are in person, Mondays evenings (EXACT DAYS AND TIMES TBD - first session is Feb. 3 @ 5:30-7:30pm) at the Girl Scouts of Southern AZ Campus (Broadway and Columbus).
Commit to attend the Pitch It! competetion at the end of the program.
Abide by the Girl Scout Volunteer Code of Conduct (explained in training)
Follow the safety ratios and rules found in the most current GSUSA Safety Activity Checkpoints (explained in training)
Agree to a full background check (as part of being a registered GS volunteer)
- Your volunteer GS membership and background check will be paid for by the GS adVENTUREs program.
