    Chakilla and Judge Lewis White Scholarship

    The Purpose of the Chakilla and Judge Lewis White College Scholarship is to provide scholarships to deserving high school graduating seniors intending to pursue a course of study at either a two-year or four-year educational institution. 

    Selected students will receive a $2,000 scholarship to be divided between the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 school years.

    Application Requirements

    • Must be a 2026 graduating senior from a public high school in Fort Bend County
    • Must be attending a two year or four year educational institution
    • Must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA
    • Must submit one letter of recommendation, recent transcripts, and institution acceptance letter, and headshot of applicant for publishing purposes
    • Applicant must NOT be related to the Expose Excellence Board of Directors, Mr. and Mrs. White, or the Selection Panelists
    • Must submit complete application to be considered

    I grant permission for my child to be photographed and/or videotaped during the event, and for the images, my child's name, and/or recordings to be published, reproduced, or distributed by Expose Excellence Youth Program Foundation and its affiliates, without financial remuneration to me, in all outlets, including, but not limited to, television, newspapers, internet, Expose Excellence Youth Program Foundation publications, recruitment materials, and ads without liability or limitation on me.

    I hereby understand that if chosen as a scholarship recipient, according to Expose Excellence Youth Program Foundation Scholarship policy, I must provide evidence of enrollment/registration at the post-secondary institution of my choice before scholarship funds can be awarded.
