Wildcat Theatre Academy Camp Registration

Please read all of the following information before registering your child for a camp. Payment is required at the conclusion of this registration form. Please do not continue with registration if you do not intend to submit payment. Your child is not registered until payment is remitted.

Program Information

Wildcat Theatre Academy is proud to present the 2023 Summer Theatre Camp program. Acting workshops will be led by certified teachers, NVHS theatre directors, exceptional high school thespians, and guest presenters.

Children's Camp

Monday, August 7 - Thursday, August 10 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Friday, August 11 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM (recital at 10:30 AM)

An introductory acting summer camp for incoming 2nd-5th grade students. During the week, students learn basic skills of acting, improvisation, movement, and dance. The camp culminates in a performance on the final day. Participation guarantees a non-speaking part in the NVHS Fall Children’s Play production, a witty twist on the classic fairy tale. Show title to be announced.

Middle School Performance Camp

Monday, August 7 - Thursday, August 10 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Friday, August 11 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM (performance at 2:30 PM)

A performance camp for incoming 6th through 8th grade students. Students will work in various aspects of theatre craft including acting, improvisation, comedy, movement, tech, and costuming. Participants will work collaboratively with high school actors to put on a performance of a collection of vignettes on Friday, August 11th at Neuqua Valley High School Auditorium.

High School Camp

Monday, July 31 - Wednesday, August 2 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Thursday, August 3 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (performance at 6:00 PM)

This summer high school students can partake in a “24-Hour Play” where we will log a total of 24 hours in order to create a show completely from scratch. Upon registration, students will note their top participation preferences (acting, set design & build, lights & sound, directing, and costumes). In this process, students will learn essential theatre skills while building up to a one-time performance. What play will be produced? Wildcat Theatre Summer Directors will present script options to students and put it to a vote! Student participants can be incoming freshmen through graduating seniors.

Please meet in the NVHS Main Campus Auditorium Lobby by entering at Door 7.

Camp fee $300/per camper; registration closes at 11:59 PM on July 16, 2023.

No registration is available onsite once camp begins.

The registration fee is refundable any time before registration closes (see individual camp dates above) minus a $25 administrative fee. Due to the fixed costs of running the camp, the Registration fee is 100% NON-REFUNDABLE after the date that registration closes. There is no pro-rated rate for partial attendance.
