Thank you for your interest in Rubbish to Runway 2026!

The theme for this year will be World, Reimagined

This theme embraces rediscovery, global connections, and modern interpretations of traditional dress.

Designs should blend historical styles (any era!) with modern and future looks, using recycled and repurposed materials, with a focus on international styles and fashions.

Consider choosing a specific country or region, possibly along with a period in history and design a garment that is inspired by that place and time.

We are going for a cohesive, global message of tolerance, inclusion, peace through creativity.

First time designers are welcome and we have a series of workshops/meet-ups to help!

Please register by April 30th. Registration will close once all slots are filled or on May 1st.

NOTE: You can send details (garment title, materials used, song choice etc.) at a later date if needed.

If your model is unavailable both nights, we may ask to provide a model for the opposite night to balnace show. Flexibility is preferred.
