• Appointment for Blood Work Only (AOS)

  • OPTIONS

    1. We offer bloodwork through veterinary assistant appointments. You can sign up on this form. One of our veterinarians will review the results and send you an e-mail with their interpretation.

    2. Blood work is best interpreted in the context of the physical exam. We recommend you do this through a primary care veterinarian so that you maintain a life-long partnership for pet care but we can help with an exam on select Thursdays between 10 amd and 5 pm. The blood can be drawn at the time of the exam.

  • We prefer pets over 4 months and 4 lbs to be fasted for 12 hours. LEAVE WATER DOWN AT ALL TIMES!!

  • Bring Urine to the Appointment

We need you to bring the urine with you for this test. Bring the urine in a rigid plastic snack container marked with your pets name and your last name. For female dogs, the easiest way to catch urine is with s shallow container. We only need 1 tsp of urine. Samples should be no more than 24 hrs old. First of the morning samples are best. Do not refrigerate. Sadly we do not have time to help collect urine at the time of the blood draw.
