Uniform Prep Organizer (involves helping Kim sort and organize uniforms for registration days and putting name tags in bags for each participant. Usually occurs 3 times per year. In the month prior to our semesters starting. Currently those dates are August, December, and April)
First Day of Registration (Involves being present at our sessions for the first day of registration day. Volunteers hand out drawstring bags, uniforms, take pictures of each of our registrants for our picture roster, inform parents of where the bathrooms are, and direct parents on how to get integrated with the rest of the kids in the facility.)
Little Ballers Awareness Day Greeters (Occurs periodically throughout the year whenever we do our FREE Awareness campaigns. Volunteers sit at a table and welcome registrants as they come in and answer questions that they have regarding the program.)
Exhibition Booth Volunteers (Occurs periodically throughout the year whenever we have opportunities to set up our booth. Volunteers hang around our booth, welcome people who show interest in the program, hand out brochures, encourage children to drible one of our balls or shoot on one of our hoops, and inform parents of what our program is.)
Inner City Pop-up Clinic Ambassadors (We believe in making little BALLERS accessible to all people. Pop-up Clinics is one way we can help to make basketball accessible to all. As an ambassador you will show up at the designated pop-up location and be present to talk with participants parents as coaches lead kids through 45 minute sessions.)
Camp Assistants (At various times throughout the year we put on Athletic Character Camps! Volunteers would be present to assist in ensuring that the camp runs smoothly. Volunteers will assist the directors by filling in where needed. Tasks could involve helping with crafts, snacks, and helping to manage the attendants.)
Little League Volunteer (Little League happens once a week and is currently run out of Lord Roberts Community Centre. This program introduces kids ages 4 to 8 the rules associated with basketball and gives them an opportunity to play in a game. Volunteers will sit with kids on the sideline while they are waiting for the turn to get into the game. Volunteers will also ensure that kids are staying on bench and supporting their teammates.
