Pickleball: Brackets are Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Please specify your partner.

Predict-A-Pace: Jog, walk, or run 2 miles. Compete against your anticipated finish time.

Table Tennis: Singles. Men vs Men, Women vs Women 

Shuffleboard: Round Robin

Mahjong: We are playing National Mahjong League rules. If you would like to be East and bring your own set please specify.

Hand & Foot: A variant of Canasta- rules will be given at the event. Partners will be drawn at the event.

Dominoes: Round Robin

Bocce: Mixed teams

Basketball Shoot: Individual competition. Highest number of baskets  scored wins.

Cornhole: Men vs Men, Women vs Women

Tennis: Mixed doubles, Round Robin

Darts: Individual competition

Pocket Pool: Men vs Men, Women vs Women, Playing Stripes and Solids

Bowling: Men vs Men, Women vs Women. Ages 50-68, 69-75, 76 & Up.

Miniature Golf: Mixed Teams

Pinochle: Please specify your partner.

Canasta: If you have a partner, please specify who. If no partner, one will be assigned to you.

*NEW* Rummy Q: Partners will be drawn at the event. Bring your own set.

*NEW* Triathlon: 10 minute Swim, 10 minute stationary bike, and 10 minute treadmill. There will be 10 minute transitions between events to dry off or change. We will meet at the pool area through the locker room, where you can store your personal items.  Use the locker room to transition to the next part of the triathlete. 

*NEW* Canine Companion Challenge Course: Friendly small dogs up to 50 pounds ONLY. Vaccines required, must bring doctor's office report to the event. Must bring own Poop bags, water, and treats. The dog must be leashed through the entire event - leash must be no Longer than 5 feet and not retractable. Each dog leashed and their owner leading them will have the opportunity to complete an obstacle course where they have to walk around several cones, sit on a mat, jump over a small piece of material and then complete the track around to the starting line. We will time each dog leashed as they complete the course. 

Closing Ceremonies & Brunch: Please wear your t-shirts and medals

 

Please bring a bottle of water, hat, sunscreen and snacks if your event will be outdoors or a strenous activity.

Due to inclement weather, this event may be cancelled or rescheduled.

No refunds will be issued.

Adult Participant Waiver, Release, Indemnification of All Claims & Covenant Not to Sue

NOTICE: THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT. Read this document carefully and in entirety. By signing this agreement, you give up your right to bring a court action to recover compensation or obtain any other remedy for any personal injury or property damage however caused arising out of your participation in Jewish Community Center of Staten Island Programs (SIJCC), now or at any time in the future.

Acknowledgment of Risk : 

I hereby acknowledge and agree that participation in any SIJCC program and/or activity comes with inherent risks. I have full knowledge and understanding of the inherent risks associated with this participation, including but in no way limited to items such as slips, trips, and falls, illness, including exposure to and infection with viruses or bacteria. I further acknowledge that the preceding list is not inclusive of all possible risks associated with my participation and that said list in no way limits the operation of this Agreement.              

 

Waiver, Release, Indemnification & Covenant Not to Sue

In consideration of my participation in any SIJCC program and/or activity, I, the undersigned participant, agree to release and on behalf of myself, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, and assigns, HEREBY DO RELEASE the SIJCC, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, representatives and insurers (“Releasees”) from any causes of action, claims, or demands of any nature whatsoever including, but in no way limited to, claims of negligence, which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators and assigns may have, now or in the future, against the SIJCC on account of personal injury, property damage, death or accident of any kind, arising out of or in any way related to the use of the SIJCC facilities/equipment or participation in the SIJCC  programs whether that participation is supervised or unsupervised, however the injury or damage occurs, including, but not limited to the negligence of Releasees.

In consideration of my participation in any SIJCC program and/or activity, I, the undersigned participant, agree to INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Releasees from any and all causes of action, claims, demands, losses, or costs of any nature whatsoever arising out of or in any way related to my SIJCC program and/or activity participation. 

I hereby certify that I have full knowledge of the nature and extent of the risks inherent in any SIJCC program and/or activity participation and that I am voluntarily assuming said risks.  I understand that I will be solely responsible for any loss or damage, including personal injury, property damage, or death, I sustain while participating in any SIJCC program and/or activity and that by signing this agreement I HEREBY RELEASE Releasees from all liability for such loss, damage, or death. I further certify that I am in good health and that I have no conditions or impairments which would preclude my safe participation in any SIJCC program and/or activity.

I further certify that I am therefore of lawful age (18 years or older) and otherwise legally competent to sign this agreement, and that I have legal capacity to act as the parent/guardian of the named minor. I further understand that the terms of this agreement are legally binding and certify that I am signing this agreement, after having carefully read it, of my own free will.
