Miss Empanada LLC is an Empanada Manufacturing company that produces homestyle, authentic empanadas for all dietary preferences (meat eaters, vegans, vegetarians, lactose intolerants). Miss Empanada operates via ecommerce as well as local catering, farmers markets and pop-up locations. This application refers to our weekly pop-up establishment located in East Meadow, NY. Please note upon hiring, you are not limited to working at alternative locations we have.

Schedule: Every Wednesday or Thursday | 12:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m

Job Descriptions

Food Service Assistant: As a Food Service Assistant for Miss Empanada LLC, you will be responsible for food preparation duties, such as preparing fruit and vegetables, filling, assembly and closure of empanadas and other food items, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen, managing supply inventory and serving flow. Compensation: $16-$17/hr + tips

Team Lead: As a Team Lead for Miss Empanada LLC, you will be responsible for providing guidance and instruction to staff, delegating work, overseeing progress towards goals, and coaching team members as needed to keep high morale of motivation. Team lead will be responsible for assisting in other job roles when needed, to maintain the work flow of daily operations. Compensation:$18-$19/hr

Cashier: As a Cashier for Miss Empanada LLC, you will be responsible for greeting customers and providing them with a warm and friendly experience, process in-person orders, collect payments, and maintain public and dining areas. Compensation: $16-$17/hr + tips

Delivery Driver: As a Delivery Driver for Miss Empanada LLC, you will be responsible for processing orders placed online or by phone, packaging and verifying order details, maintain reliable transportation, use navigation tools to arrive at the right address and delivering goods to the correct address.Compensation: $16-$17/hr + tips + gas reimbursement.

Qualifications:

Food Handlers Certificate (Company will provide for the right candidate)
Intermediate Culinary Skills or Interest In (Preferred but not required)
Networking/ Sales Communication Skills
Skill in cooking and preparing a variety of foods (Preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate!)
Loves to come to work and have fun!
