Effective March 9, 2023, the Board has authorized an increase of 15% for all categories of reimbursement. The revised amounts are listed below (inclusive of the 15% increase). This is an interim increase while the EC and Board review the Travel Reimbursement Policy more closely, regarding both amount and eligibility. The below eligibility criteria, monetary limits, and procedure will be in effect up to and including the Amsterdam conference. Please enquire with Shari regarding any travel after June 2023 as further revisions may be introduced following the review.
Eligibility
1) Only full-time sitting judges or full-time academics are eligible.
2) The person must be a contributor to the conference or event (panelist, board member, committee chair, discussion leader, additional discussant, additional contributor).

Process
If your expenses will not be fully covered by your Institution and you would like to request travel reimbursement for expenses incurred please complete the form below. Your request for reimbursement will be reviewed and if eligible under the above guidelines will be approved and paid by the III Administrative Director.
To ensure a proper audit trail and accountability, this policy has changed to be a reimbursement process, not a stipend process (as was the case previously), so judges and academics seeking reimbursement will need to provide receipts to III after the event up to the reimbursement maximum. If receiving the reimbursement after the event will present a hardship, the individual may submit receipts before the conference to receive part or all the reimbursement.
