Programs Include: Psychology Groups, Amicus Camps and Recreation, Foothills Academy School Program

    *Please note if your child has completed a psycho-educational assessment through Foothills Academy Community Services, we cannot obtain their assessment without parent completion of a Authorization to Release Information form. Please reach out to rwmintake@foothillsacademy.org if you need to complete this form in order for us to obtain the psych-ed assessment internally.

  • WEEKLY LITERACY PROGRAM OPTIONS

    Weekly literacy is offered 1 hour per day M-F. While we do offer multiple weekly lessons we cannot guarantee availability for all those interested in more than one lesson per week. We do our best to accommodate all requests received for days, times, total hours, and instructors.

    To apply for a weekly literacy program:
    Pricing:
    1. Input total hours per week you would like your child to attend 

    2. Select the days and times that your child is available for. Times are broken into Morning, Afternoon, and Evening selections.

    3. If you have preferences for the days and times you have selected, please enter them in the text box.

    4. If you have a specific instructor you would like to request, please enter their name in the text box.
    Monday Weekly Literacy: $600.00 for 10 lessons

    Tuesday Weekly Literacy: $660.00 for 11 lessons

    Wednesday Weekly Literacy: $660.00 for 11 lessons

    Thursday Weekly Literacy: $660.00 for 11 lessons

    Friday Weekly Literacy: $600.00 for 10 lessons

    Saturdays Weekly Literacy: $1080.00 for 9 lessons (2 hours)

     
    Weekly Literacy Spot Limitations: Weekly literacy programs remain in high demand and we do our best to accommodate every application we receive. Please note that our Weekly Literacy programs fill very quickly after applications open. Should program spots fill before your application is received, our Intake Coordinator will reach out to confirm your child has been put on the waitlist. 

    Saturday spaces are very limited so please indicate at least one other day of availability. If Saturday is the only day you have available please anticipate being waitlisted. The more availability you have, the more likely it is that we can find a space that works.

  • INTENSIVE LITERACY PROGRAM OPTIONS

    All intensive programs run during the school day. We do our best to accommodate all requests for times, total hours, and instructors. Intensives include a pre and a post assessment, completed on the first day and last day of programming. Note that day 2 of programs is not an instructional day. This day is used for the instructor to write the assessment report, and the student does not attend in person.

    Session A Intensives: 40-hour (Monday - Thursday, 2 hours a day, April 5-May 10, $2880) and 75-hour (Monday - Friday, 3 hours a day, April 5-May11, $4980).

    Session B Intensives: 40-hour (Monday - Thursday, 2 hours a day, May 17-June 22, $2880) and 75-hour (Monday - Friday, 3 hours a day, May 17-June 22, $4980).

    To apply for a literacy intensive program:

    1. Select the intensive you would like to apply for 

    2. Select any alternative intensive programs you would be interested in if your first choice is unavailable

    3. Select the intensive times that work for you

    4. Indicate small group interest

    5. Let us know any preferences you have for times, dates, and instructors

  • SUMMER BOOSTER AND INTENSIVE LITERACY PROGRAM

     

    The Summer Booster Literacy Program is an opportunity to select 1-3 weeks of literacy remediation. Booster weeks need not be consecutive. Booster weeks are five days per week, Monday-Friday, and run every week of the summer.

    Intensive programs are 4 weeks. The difference between an intensive and booster weeks is the level of detail in the reports and assessments your child receives, and the amount of progress your child makes. 

    All programs run Monday-Friday. Choose from 2 or 3 hours per day. We do not accept students into full-day programs. Please indicate your preferred weeks and start time. We have some flexibility over start times and will do our best to meet your needs.

    COST: 

    10 hours Booster (1 week 2 hours per day)  $600

    15 hours Booster (1 week 3 hours per day) $900

    Intensive (4 weeks, 2 hours per day plus pre and post assessment reports) $2880

    Intensive (4 weeks, 3 hours per day plus pre and post assessment reports) $3960

    *Note with an intensive the first day of attendance and the last day of attendance are only two hours with four hours for report report writing in each instance (pre and post)

  • MATH BOOSTER PROGRAM OPTIONS

    Booster weeks run 4 days or 5 days per week. This option is available year round for families looking for a flexible option to have a student attend daily for one week. Programs are either 2 or 3 hours per day for 4 or 5 days. 

    Booster weeks start on Mondays. 

    Choose from one, two, three, or four weeks. If selecting four weeks, this is part of an intensive program. 

    Please indicate your preferred start date, times, and indicate if you have any flexibility with your start date or time. 

    Boosters are only offered between 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday.

    Booster weeks are a wonderful way to get the same amount of instruction in one week as a student gets in one session of weekly lessons. Instructors develop a specific targeted goal and work with the student to build confidence and achieve that goal.
