Creative Liberties Artist Residency at ARCOS Tenant Responsibilites Agreement
This is NOT a rental agreement. It is to provide you with details about what you are applying for.
Arcos Apartments are located in the Rosemary District and are very heavily "art-centric" - there is art displayed throughout the building, many local artists reside there and they have an onsite art space that we have officially activated as a studio work space / gallery display space.
The residencies are for 2 months at a time.
Here's some important information:
- The space can be for 1-3 artists
- It is approximately 600 square feet of space with big glass windows that face Central Avenue.
- The cost is $400 per month ($200 if you share with another artist)
- The space is open to the public 6 days a week, from 9a-6p - you MUST be able to be in the space working 4 days a week during open hours (less if you share the space)
- Creative Liberties will promote you on its social media, newsletter and website.
- Creative Liberties will host one Opening Reception for the artist(s) about half way through the residency.
- Artist(s) agree to promote Creative Liberties via social media, contacts and with visitors to the space.
- Artist(s) agree to keep the space neat and tidy as it is open to the public.
- Artist(s) will label works with prices or NFS.
- Artist(s) will have their contact info and prefered way of payment displayed.
The address is 340 Central Avenue, Sarasota. This is a first come, first serve opportunity.
