Position Overview:
Join our team as a Part-Time Summer Pool and Golf Snack Bar Attendant and become an integral part of creating a positive experience for our guests. This seasonal position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, preparing and serving food and refreshments to pool and golf patrons during the summer months.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
Greet and assist pool and golf patrons in a friendly and courteous manner.
Take and process customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
Provide information on menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Food Preparation:
Prepare and assemble a variety of snacks, beverages, and light meals.
Ensure that all food items meet quality and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of food items.
- Cash Handling:
Handle cash transactions and provide correct change to customers.
Process payments through point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Keep accurate records of daily transactions.
- Maintaining Stock:
Monitor and restock inventory as needed.
Rotate and manage food products to minimize waste.
Report inventory levels and order supplies in a timely manner.
- Cleaning and Maintenance:
Keep the snack bar area clean and sanitized.
Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic environment.
Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the pool and golf facility.
- Adherence to Policies:
Follow established company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is a plus.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Lift and carry moderately heavy loads (up to 30 pounds).
Work in various weather conditions
