Position Overview:
The Team Lead serves as the on-shift leader, supporting daily operations, staff coordination, and service standards. This role bridges the gap between staff and management, ensuring smooth service, accountability, and a positive team culture.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Supervision:
Act as the primary point of contact during assigned shifts
Lead, support, and guide servers and kitchen staff
Assist with training new team members
Address minor staff or guest issues professionally and promptly
- Operational Oversight:
Ensure opening, shift, and closing procedures are followed
Monitor service flow and adjust staffing or tasks as needed
Ensure Club standards for service, cleanliness, and professionalism are met
- Customer Experience:
Step in to assist members and guests when needed
Resolve service concerns calmly and respectfully
Model excellent customer service and teamwork
- Cash Handling & Reporting:
Oversee POS accuracy and cash handling procedures
Assist with end-of-shift reconciliation as needed
- Policy & Compliance:
Enforce Club policies, safety guidelines, and sanitation standards
Communicate issues or concerns to management
Qualifications:
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
Highly reliable, organized, and professional
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for extended periods
Lift and carry up to 40 pounds
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
