Terms of Entry
Art will be displayed in Studio 107 the Collective by

Eligibility: The competition is open to all amateur or novice artists who have not yet achieved professional recognition or commercial success. Artists must be 12 years of age or older to enter.
Medium: The competition is open to all 2D mediums, the medium will be specified for each month.
Theme: Artwork submitted should adhere to the theme assigned for that month
Original work: All artwork submitted must be original and created by the artist. Any artwork found to be plagiarized or copied from other sources will be disqualified.
Size and weight restrictions: Artwork should be no larger than 20 inches in any single dimension
Submission requirements: Artists may submit one original piece this can include more than one canvas or whatever the required base is for that month as long as the overall size doesn't exceed 20"x20". Submissions should include a digital image of the artwork which can be taken upon delivery of art to be displayed, along with a brief artist statement and description of the artwork.
Deadline: All submissions must be received by the specified deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Judging: A panel of judges will review all submissions and select the winners based on the judging criteria. All decisions made by the judges are final.
Awards: Prizes will be awarded to the top three entries, including a cash prize for the first-place winner.
Display and exhibition: Winning entries may be displayed in an exhibition and may be featured in promotional materials for the competition.
Copyright and ownership: Artists retain full copyright and ownership of their artwork, but grant permission to the competition organizers to use images of the artwork for promotional purposes to include but not limited to social media platforms and printed materials. The Artist's name will be included in any such publications.
Sale of artwork: Artists may choose to sell their art during the competition. Price must be set upon entry. If the artwork sells during the competition it will remain on display until the competition is completed. 20% of the sale will go to the organizer of the contest 80% will go to the artist.
Entry fee: An entry fee of $10 will be implemented to cover administration and exhibition costs.
Delivery and collection: Artists are responsible for delivering their artwork to venue on the given date and collecting it at the end of the competition.
Cancellation: The host reserves the right to cancel the competition due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, entry fees will be refunded to the artists.
