Review Class and ACI Field Testing Technician Gr.1 Exam

Two Options for Field Exam Preparation:

1. In-Person Review Class Session

The In-Person Review class is intended to supplement student’s self-study as part of the ACI Field exam preparation.

As part of your registration for the In-Person Review class you will also have FREE access to the ACI Field Review online study course at the Concrete Career Academy.

Review class day includes:
- Review of the 7 ASTM standards: 
  (ASTM C1064, C172, C143,  C138, C231, C173, C31).
- Taking practice quizzes
- Question & answer discussions
- Instructor guided hands-on portion to familiarize  with operation of performance  testing equipment.
The Review Class Session is not required in order to register for the ACI Field Tech Gr.1 exam.
However, ACI does recommend attendance of a Review course.

The ACI Field Tech Gr.1 exam is a difficult exam to pass so the Review class would be very beneficial to the person taking the exam.

Review classes are typically scheduled the day before exam day from 8:00am-4:30pm. Check registration from for addtional dates.

2. ONLINE Review Course - Concrete Career Academy

The Concrete Career Academy provides an online exam preparation course and a structured review session that can be taken at a student's convenience.

This online review is intended to supplement student’s self-study as part of the ACI Field Technician Grade 1 exam preparation.

Review session includes:
- Review of the ACI Concrete Field Testing Tech Gr. 1 CP-1 40th Ed. Textbook
- Self-guided powerpoints covering each of the ACI standards
- Practice Quizzes
- Video links to familiarize students  with operation of performance  testing equipment
  
  Cost for Online: Member Price: $115 Non-Member Price: $165
Members of Tennessee Concrete Association, Carolinas Ready Mix Concrete Association,
or Kentucky Concrete Association.

The Review Class Session is not required in order to register for the ACI Field Tech Gr.1 exam.

ACI Field Testing Technician Gr.1 Exam Cost:

$495/per person (includes textbook) - Tennessee Concrete Association Member

$820/per person (includes textbook) - Non-member Tennessee Concrete Association

$250 - Retest (Written section or Performance Section)

This exam is based on the current ACI Field Testing Techinician Gr. 1 Workbook Publication.

Textbook and shipping is included in the cost of exam & sent via UPS upon receipt of payment. Materials will be shipped to the company address unless otherwise indicated.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- This is a difficult exam to pass. Prior study and practice of the performance tests are imperative. Textbook is included in the registration fee, materials will be sent upon receipt of payment in the TCA office.
- Substitutions allowed with prior permission from TCA office.
- No Show - a student who does not attend exam day. No refund.
- Cancellation- to cancel a registration 2 weeks or less. Fee $150.
