On your day of vacate, you must ensure that you have met your lawful obligations before handing over the property, in accordance with your signed tenancy agreement and the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act.
Your Tenant Obligations have been identified on the provided Vacate Procedure.
Should there be any outstanding items that require rectification, they will be identified on the Form 14a - Exit Condition Report and will require rectification before the tenancy can be finalised (and your bond refunded).
- Where possible, time will be provided for you to rectify these items, however itis not lawfully required. Please read the email and follow the instructionsprovided.
- If you fail to act or respond, outstanding items will be rectified, and costs will be claimed from your bond. Costs incurred that exceed the bond will be required to be paid within 14 days.
- Should the tenancy not be finalised within a reasonable timeframe, the matterwill be escalated with the appropriate authorities and may result in your detailsbeing provided to tenancy databases. We thank you in advance for yourcooperation to prevent this.

Please Note: If at the end of the tenancy the Tenant is in breach of any of its obligations under the tenancy agreement the Lessor may rectify such breach and claim the costs of such rectification from the rental bond or the tenant. This may include compensation for loss of rent for time taken to remedy such breach (i.e. return the premises to a similar condition it was in at the commencement of tenancy)
WARNING: If money is owed in excess of the Bond, Tenants can be listed with Tenancy Databases (such as TICA). If this situation occurs, you will be contacted, advised, and be given the opportunity to pay the money owed or to correct the contents of the proposed listing before it is submitted.
