    What is Lightwave Library?

    Lightwave Library is a collaborative effort, with LRMS and the G3/G4 program. Its interest is in expanding the LRMS database(s) to work with an open source library system called Koha. Koha has been in production since it's first launch in 2000. Since then, Koha has become a worldwide consortium with hundreds of collaborative efforts between libraries and developers world wide.  Lightwave is a migration specialist company that can easily integrate your G3/G4 database, into a fully functional Koha library. We setup, deploy and migrate your LRMS library software to a fully secure cloud web server to handle all of your online and offline transactional requirements.

  • This form can be saved at any time and filled out later and/or between librarians and technical persons alike. If you don't know the answer, just skip it.

  • The following options are services available to you. Your final selections will allow us to give you a quote with our recommendations as well. This is just a questionaire, and you will not be required to pay anything at the submission of this form.

          Enable Auto Backups Product Image
          Enable Auto BackupsBackups are stored in the same datacenter as the original instance on a separate, fault-tolerant storage system. Automatic backups can be configured to run daily, every other day, weekly, or monthly. The time of day, day of week/month that the backup occurs is configurable. You can only restore snapshots of the entire server, not individual files. Your two most recent backups are stored by Vultr. Older backups are removed after each scheduled interval. Backups include the VPS active file system. Backups do not include attached block storage volumes. *Note: This service add on is not available natively on bare metal servers or stand alone systems.

          Lightwave Library Online Managed Care ServicesThis service is optional if you choose bare metal servers. Bare metal server prices are listed as unmanaged by us. We do a basic install of G5 Koha. But the client is responsible for backups, DDOS implementation and server management and upkeep. Activating this add on, turns the responsibility back to Lightwave Managed Care Team Services. This is an annual recurring fee.
