IMPORTANT INFO: Please read thoroughly 

 Any form of cosmetic tattooing is considered permanent as your results can not be washed off. Although over time your body will naturally metabolise the pigment (fade/lighten over time). Cosmetic tattoos can last anywhere between 1-10 years depending on skin type and how they are looked after long term.

 Our line of pigments used are organic and do not contain any heavy metals or nickel. Ingredients are as follows:

*Glycerin, 
*Witch hazel 
*Isopropyl alcohol, 
*Distilled water, 
*Titanium dioxide, 
*Iron oxide, 
*Aqua, 
*Rosin 
*DMDM hydantoin

 These are safe, non-reactive substances that have been specifically designed & manufactured for implantation into the human skin. They are gamma-ray sterilised, vegan, and cruelty-free.

 Multiples factors are taken into consideration when choosing the right pigment for each client, for example: hair colour, skin tone, eye colour, etc.

 Our senior artist will carefully measure and map out the perfect shape to suit you according to your natural facial features and also personal preference, the procedure will then only begin once you have approved of this shape. 

 Time allocated: 3 hours including (colour selection, custom tailored brow design, topical anaesthetic and thorough aftercare instructions. 

LIP BLUSH: WHAT TO EXPECT
Immediately after your lip blush treatment your lips will appear more swollen and darker than expected. The colour will soften up to 50% in the next 7-10 days. Your lips will feel tingly and quite tender. Your lips will also feel and look swollen after the treatment, this will only last for a few days, you can use an ice pack 3-4 times a day to soothe your lips although be sure to use a clean barrier (tissue) between the ice pack and your lips.

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
You must keep your lips hydrated & apply the aftercare balm repeatedly throughout the day for 7-10 days
Avoid the sun for 14 days & be sure to protect your lips using strong SPF
Do not use any cleansers, face creams or soaps containing glycolic, hydroxyl or fruit acids on or near your lips
Your lips will start peeling, do not pick or rub your lips during this process, it can cause infection and affect pigment retention
Do not wax or use laser hair removal on or any where near your lips
Only drink from a straw for the first few days
Avoid spicy, salty and citrus foods for the first few days
Be very careful when brushing your teeth & no kissing for 5 days

BROW TATTOO: WHAT TO EXPECT

At first your brows will appear much darker / richer in colour, however this only lasts for a short period of time. In the next 4-14 days your brows will dramatically will soften and lighten in colour, this is when they will start the flaking process, during this process it is extremely important to not pull, scratch or pick at your brows! After the flaking process your brows can still look too light and sometimes patchy but don’t stress, your skin is in the rejuvenating process, they will eventually reveal their true colour at around 4-6 weeks.

WHAT YOU HAVE TO AVOID

*Excessive sweating for 7 days
*Exposure to the sun (including solarium)
*Facial treatments, this includes microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser *resurfacing, face scrubs & face masks. Must be avoided for at least 6 weeks
*Do not swim for 14 days, including chlorine and salt water pools & baths
*Do not scratch, pick or rub your brows

PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT: 

Please keep in mind that following the pre-care and aftercare instructions correctly is crucial to ensure the final results are perfect!  

You must NOT consume any alcohol, fish oil, caffeine, pre-workout or take any blood thinners such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen or Niacin 48 hours before your procedure; this will cause excess bleeding and affect your results. 
Botox or fillers should be done 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after your appointment 
You will not be able to receive a tattoo service if you have used Vitamin A, within the last six months. (Isotretinoin, Accutane, Retinol)

AFTERCARE: COMBINATION BROWS & OMBRÉ BROW

Keep brows completely dry for 48hrs after your brow treatment (includes any of the aftercare products given to you), if any brow fluid weeps from your brows, gently dab with a tissue or cotton round. After 48 hrs wash your brows 3 times a day using only water on a clean cotton round (make sure the cotton round is only damp NOT soaking wet) pat dry then apply a thin layer or the aftercare balm, repeat for this process 3 times a day for 5 days, remembering to still avoid getting them wet in the shower!

AFTERCARE: BROW FEATHERING

After your treatment, very gently wash your brows every hour using only water on a clean cotton round (make sure the cotton round is only damp NOT soaking wet), pat the brows dry (do not rub) then carefully apply a thin layer of the aftercare balm using a clean cotton tip, from the second day you will only need to repeat these steps 3 times a day for 7 more days.

LONG TERM AFTERCARE

Over time your brow tattoo will slowly start to fade/lighten as they age. This is completely normal as your body’s natural reaction is metabolise any pigments in the skin. Not everyones brows will age the same as everybody’s skin type is different, your brows may appear patchy in some places or slightly discoloured. This is completely normal although we do suggest regular brow maintenance like waxing, shaping and sometimes tinting if needed that way we can gage when you might need a tattoo touch up. Most clients go at least 12 months before they need a touch up. 

BOOKINGS

Once we have received your online application, our tattoo artist will assess your information and decide if you are suitable candidate for cosmetic tattooing. We will then contact you either via email or phone to arrange a booking.

All tattooing bookings require a $250 NON refundable deposit. We require a full 7 days notice to cancel or reschedule your booking. You will be sent a reminder email 7 days prior to your booking so if you need cancel or reschedule please notify us as soon as you receive this email (this includes changing the treatment). Failing to show up to your booking will result in a 100% cancellation fee of the treatment cost. 

TOUCH UP APPOINTMENT

A 6 week touch up is included in the initial cost of your treatment. Not all clients need the touch up  appointment although this will be decided by our brow artist once we see how your brows have healed after the first session, if they do need any adjustments this is done in the touch up appointment. 

Your free 6 week touch up is only valid for 8 weeks. If you fail to have your touch up (if needed) within 8 weeks, an additional fee of $150 is required to complete your touch up session. If it has been 12 weeks or longer the price will increase.

SALON POLICY

We are strictly a child free salon, we ask that no children are brought to any appointments. We also ask that you come to your appointment alone.
