In submitting, notwithstanding the requirements of World Sailing Offshore Regulations Cat 4 you undertake –

To carry a lifejacket suitable for each person on board (i.e. not a buoyancy aid, and appropriate to the individual).

To carry at least one floating orange smoke flare.

You will bring the safety requirements to the attention of every person on board.

We are also reminding boats that they need to have either a Ship Radio Licence or a Ship Portable Radio Licence AND at least one holder of VHF Short-Range Certificate on board.
