    • Use good discretion when travelling.
    • PERMIT IS NOT VALID WHEN THE RM 290 HAS SPRING RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE!
    • Follow the Rules and Regulations set outby the RM of Kindersley #290.
    • If any road starts to become damaged due to negligence, we will be forced to put a 10 Ton limit on them.
    • Anyone caught destroying a road will be responsible for the cost of repairs to the road.
    • If inclement weather occurs prior to or during the move client must contact the Bylaw Enforcement to ensure the RM is still allowing travel.
    • Holder of this permit will not detain School Buses and shall be considerate to all other vehicles on the municipal roads.
    • Movement is only allowed on DRY/FROZEN TRACK. Dry track can be described as lack of any type or moisture on the roadway.
    • When roads are dry, a vehicle will not leave any type of indentation on the roadways, nor it will leave mud or debris on the roads.
    • If you are uncertain of whether the road conditions will be considered Dry Track, you need to contact the Bylaw Officer or another council member.
    • Mud and debris tracked onto the road surface must be cleaned off as soon as possible by sweeping/shoveling. At the RM’s discretion, grading of the gravel surface roads and/or adding new gravel may be needed.
    • The permit is only valid for the route and vehicle(s) on the permit.
    • Permit holder is liable for the cost of any road damage he/she causes.
    • Permit may be revoked for non-compliance of Permit conditions.

    • RM PERMIT APPROVAL ONLY VALID FOR ONE DAY UNLESS APPROVAL NOTED FOR EXTENDED DATES.

    • No parking, loading, or unloading of vehicles, trailers, or other equipment on any municipal roadways or municipal road allowance.
    • Delays must be reported to Municipal Enforcement and/or Office by phone.
    • Approval of this permit does in no way constitute authority to move overweight loads when road bans are implemented.

  • RM 290 Additional Permit Conditions:

    • Maximum speed as your permit for primary weights as 70 km/h on all grid roads. 50 km/h past all yards unless otherwise stated on this permit.

    • GRID ROAD SPEEDS MAY CHANGE DUE TO ROAD CONDITIONS AND WEATHER CONDITIONS.
    • IN ALL CASES, THE DRIVER WILL BE AWARE OF, AND IN COMPLINCE WITH ALL PERMIT CONDITIONS.

    • No chains may be used on Kindersley RM Municipal roads.
    • Signage clearly stating "RIG MOVE IN PROGRESS" is required on all key intersections used during move.
    • Unless otherwise stated or noted on this permit document, divisible loads cannot exceed a posted ban. They must reduce weight to meet bans.
    • If multiple vehicles are traveling, each vehicle MUST have a minimum of 100-120 Meters distance between them.
    • Dust control (water) must be applied and maintained during the entire move (movement of loaded & unloaded trucks, in and out of lease site) to all roads passing in front of yard sites.

    • BEACONS AND OR PILIOT VEHICLE MUST BE USED ON A LEAD AND THE FOLLOW UP VEHICLE (SUCH

    AS A CREW TRUCK) on all nighttime moves. It would be great if companies used them on daylight hours also.

    • RESTRICTED VISIBILITY GRIDS ROADS MAY BE LIMITED TO 60KM/H AND PASSING ALL YARDS WILL BE 40KM/H.
    • RESTRICTED VISIBILITY WILL BE DECIDED BY THE BYLAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER AND OR THE COUNCIL MEMBERS.
    • FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE ALL THE CONDITIONS WILL VOID THE PERMIT AND ALL MOVES WILL BE HALTED UNTIL CONDITIONS ARE COMPLIED WITH.
    • NO NIGHT MOVES FOR DRILLING RIGS! ALL UNITS MUST BE OFF MUNICIPAL ROADS PRIOR TO DARKNESS. IF PERMISSION IS REQUIRED, PLEASE CONTACT BY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER AT

    • ALL DELAYS MUST BE REPORTED TO THE BY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER IMMEDIATELY.

    • The permit holder must obtain the necessary permit from the Minster of Transportation of the Province of Saskatchewan and agrees to comply with any restrictions.
    • Permit holder is responsible to check routes prior to the move.
