Citeria:
Applicants must be a graduating high school senior planning to enroll in an institute of higher education the following academic year. At least a 2-year course of study must be pursued. Applicant must provide two letters of recommendation. Applicants must be residents of Columbia County, Arkansas. A transcript and letter of good standing from applicant's current high school is reguired.
Selection is Based on:
1 Participation in Columbia County Fair
2 GPA
3 Community Involvement
4 Leadership Activity
5 Personal Narrative which includes an explaination of how the scholarship will benefit the applicant.
The deadline for applications is March 31, 2026. Scholarship Recipients will be notified. $1,500.00 is payable at $750.00 per semester. Proof of enrollment must be provided in order to receive $750.00 payment on the 1st semester. Recipient must maintain 12 credit hours & a 2.50 GPA. A transcript must be provided at the end of the 1st semester in order to receive $750.00 payment on the 2nd semester. Failure to maintain a 2.50 GPA renders the Scholarship null and void.
