    2026 Admission Policy Acknowledgment

    Thank you for your interest in becoming a Greene County Community Fund affiliated agency. The Greene County Community Fund recognizes the continually changing human service needs in the Greene County, Arkansas area. To meet these changing needs, a yearly admission process has been established. To maintain an effective and equitable system, applications are reviewed once a year by the Board of Directors of the Greene County Community Fund. Agencies are evaluated on their overall ability to provide service, ability to be good stewards of funding monies received, and appropriateness of Greene County Community Fund available funds.

    Before an agency is considered for Greene County Community Fund support. it must meet all Greene County Community Fund eligibly requirements and standards. These requirements were adopted by the Greene County Community Fund Board of Directors to ensure all admitted agencies meet legal and organizational requirements. If an agency does not meet the requirements, it will not be considered for funding. Therefore, we ask that you review the requirements prior to submitting a funding application.

     

    Agencies must meet the following:

  • 1. The agency is currently registered as a non-profit, 501 C3 organization with a legitimate human, educational, health, welfare or service program to Greene County Arkansas. Agency/organization have all exemption status under appropriate sections of the Internal Revenue Code.

  • 2. The agency has been in existence for at least one year, providing services to Greene County residents. (All funds received from the Greene County Community Fund must be utilized for needs and services to Greene County Arkansas residents and not residents of other Arkansas counties.) In the event that the agency provides services to multiple counties, the agency must provide documentation that funds were spent on Greene County residents and also demonstrate the specific number of Greene County residents from total served).

  • 3. The agency representative(s) have read GCCF mission statement and agree that their day-to-day management coincide with that mission statement. Agencies agree that every effort will be made to work deliberately towards avoiding both actual and perceived conflicts of interest related to our mission statement, on an individual governing and organizational levels.

  • 4. Agency has a current Greene County office location with local contacts/personnel. In the event that a contact information changes, the agency will inform the Greene County Community Fund.

  • 5. The agency makes effective use of volunteers, wherever possible, consistent with its program. The agency has a local presence in the Greene Count, Arkansas geographical area.

  • 6. The agency has a plan for organization and operation, operating on a sound financial basis, and maintains an adequate system of records and reports demonstrating both services and finances.
