Food Vendor Rules & Regulations
Each vendor must be in compliance with the requirements set out by the Niagara Region Public Health Unit. Failure to comply will result in Public Health's refusal to allow operations or lead to enforcement actions. Guidelines can be found by

Vendors with onboard kitchens must have completed their yearly fire inspection by the Port Colborne Fire and Emergency Services, and provide a copy of the certification.
Vendors must be 10 ft. minimum away from each other as per Fire code.
Propane tank exchange is available for purchase however, the vendor will be required to remove and connect the tank(s).
All units must be properly maintained in good condition and be in good appearance.
All garbage is to be deposited into one of Sherkston’s waste stations each day and night prior to leaving the premise.
Each unit will have a designated parking space that is not transferrable throughout the season.
Vendors may

sell alcoholic beverages
Breaching any resort rule is grounds for immediate removal and cancellation of any, and all future agreements.
Upon final approval, payment of $2,500 plus HST is required in full and is non refundable.
