Food Not Bombs Donation Form

For decades, local, anti-war group Food Not Bombs (FNB) has shared vegetarian food with hungry Houstonians downtown, four nights a week. We are 100% volunteer and do not get any city, state, or federal funding. In March of 2023, HPD began issuing citations for the misdemeanor charge "CONDUCT A FOOD SERVICE EVENT (FEED HOMELESS)."

We are challenging the ordinance in our federal lawsuit and in our municipal court cases. To continue these fights, we need to raise money to pay costs related to our court battles and to help our volunteers who are increasingly risking their liberty and financial well-being. Any money not spent on court-related costs or fines for volunteers will go to the Houston Food Not Bombs general fund, where it is spent on things like food, plates, pots, and blankets. Our volunteers are never paid a penny, and we are not compensated for gas money or other personal expenses.

Please Note: Donations made through the below form will be made to Houston Peace and Justice Center (HPJC), FNB's fiscal sponsor. These funds will be held for FNB's exclusive use. HPJC is a qualified recipient of charitable contributions that are deductible for the donor under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, EIN 76-0565621.
