RULES
RAW Division: The approved apparel and equipment for the RAW division competitors will be defined as a non-supportive, one piece singlet, a cotton t-shirt, optional undershorts, socks, optional belt, shoes, and wrist wraps and knee sleeves. The rules of performance for all three lifts are the same for Raw and Classic Raw Competitors.
Classic Division: The approved apparel and equipment for the Raw with Wraps division competitors will be defined as a non-supportive, one piece singlet, a cotton t-shirt, optional undershorts, socks, optional belt, shoes, and wrist wraps, up to 2.5m knee wraps, and knee sleeves. The rules of performance for all three lifts are the same for Raw and Raw with Wraps competitors.
SINGLE PLY Division: The lifting costume (commonly known as a bench shirt, squat or deadline suit) shall consist of an one-piece costume of single-ply material. The construction of the suit must be without any patches or padding, and have a maximum overall material thickness not exceeding 1.3mm at any measured point, except at the seam. Any seams, false or otherwise, that in the opinion of the referees are incorporated into the costume purely as a form of reinforcement or bracing, shall invalidate the costume from being used in competition. The straps must be worn over the shoulders at all times while lifting in competition.
Multi Ply Division: A lifting suit shall be worn during the competitive lifts. It must be an individual full length article of cloth fabric, polyester, denim or canvas and may consist of multiple plies of any thickness, but as a whole be of a singular construction. The straps must be worn over the shoulders at all times while performing the competitive lifts. The use of Velcro material to secure the straps is permitted. The length of the legs must not extend beyond the mid-thigh (mid-point between the top of the kneecap and the crotch).
SCHEDULE
Weigh-in & Equipment Check: Friday, November 17, 2023 from 9am-11am or 4pm-7pm. Weigh-ins will be held at the meet venue.
Same day weigh-ins must be approved by Directors by request through emails.
Athlete Meeting/Rules Briefing: Saturday, 7:45 AM
Warmup: Saturday, 8 AM
Lifting Begins: Saturday, 9 AM
ENTRY FEES, PAYMENTS & REFUNDS
$90 per lifter with $35 crossover fee for additional events. Entry deadline is November 13th, 2023. No entries will be accepted after this date.
There will be no refunds once entry is submitted. No exceptions.
WRPF membership is required and can be purchased at thewrpf.com
