Aloha, Maui Hotel & Lodging Association Members

We are pleased to announce that Maui Hotel & Lodging Association has once again been presented an opportunity to give back to our Maui community by hosting the 2023 Spring Nā Kupuna Appreciation Luncheon. In partnership with Meals on Wheels and the County of Maui, MHLA will be providing 550 of Maui’s deserving senior citizens with a fresh hot meal.

We are seeking your commitment and partnership to provide a delicious spring lunch and/or make a donation for a makana (gift) that will be personally delivered to our Maui Seniors.

This event will take place on Friday, April 21, 2023 @ 7:00 AM. The goal is to have a minimum of 11 resorts and restaurants each donate a minimum of 50 lunches. Meals can be prepared at your site and/or catered as needed.

Meals on Wheels will coordinate lunch delivery for West Maui with one of our Westside properties and for South Maui with one of our South Maui Members. All other Resorts and Restaurants that donate meals will deliver the meals to thier desiganted West or South Maui hub to be transported to the Kaunoa Senior Center located in Paia.

Maui Hotel & Lodging Association will be providing an 8” X 8” “To Go” containers for those properties that are preparing meals. The meal containers will be delivered to properties or businesses that participate.

We are also encouraging volunteers to join Meals on Wheels drivers in delivering these meals and gifts across Maui. Those who volunteer will need to provide their own require vehicle transportation and will follow the Meals on Wheels volunteers as they deliver to specific locations across Maui County.
