Green Events Code Local Authority Program 2025/6 - Expression of Interest form
Vision for Sustainable Events, the UK's Outdoor Events Industry Environmental Steering Group, has developed a Green Events Code to help define and assess best practice for all stakeholders in events. The code is supported by LIVE, the trade body representing the UK music industry and by the Local Authority Event Organiser Association (LAEOG) and an industry working group of experts and key stakeholders.

We aim to select 30 Local Authorities based on type, location to join the 2025 program, starting June 2025 and run for 9 months.

We are working in partnership with the Donut Advisory Tool for Events (DATE). The tool is provided free of charge as part of this pilot project, and provides an off-the-shelf tool to make an assessment of community, accessibility and environmental impact of events. The program is anticipated to be subsidised by grant funding. Participating for the 9 month program will costs in the region of £1,500 per local authority (about 50% of costs - and we may make exceptions to ensure diverse participation). Please confirm you will be able to contribute this amount*
