Teen Trust is a year-long program created in 1994 through the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa that empowers and challenges high school students in Black Hawk County to address, identify, and seek solutions to community needs. As a Trustee, you will be responsible for allocating over $15,000 to nonprofit organizations in Black Hawk County that address those community needs. The trustees participate in fundraising efforts, complete service projects, and learn to be leaders through team-building activities. There are four committees you have the option of being on: Grants Committee, Advancement Committee, Service Committee, and Relations Committee.
For more information, contact the Teen Trust Student Director, Grace, at ggerleman@cfneia.org or visit our website at www.cfneia.org/teentrust.
