FIRST FRIDAY APPLICATION PROCESS AND RULES
Overview
The purpose of this application is to enable non-partisan voter registration organizations to interact with and educate First Friday attendees on how to become a registered voter and any other non-partisan information they may have.
Application Process *PLEASE READ IN ITS ENTIRETY*
- Non-partisan voter registration organization applications for First Friday will be open on a quarterly basis.
- Attendance at each First Friday will be limited to two (2) non-partisan voter registration organizations.
- You will only need to apply ONCE per quarter and select the requested month(s) your organization would like to attend First Friday.
- Please apply for your preferred month(s) of the quarter that you wish to attend (i.e., Quarter 1: January - March, Quarter 2: April - June, Quarter 3: July - September, Quarter 4: October - December).
- Applying for all months in the quarter does not guarantee that your application will be selected. Application acceptance will be based on requested times and frequency of attendance (For example, a group who has been to 2 First Fridays in a row may not be chosen over a group who has yet to attend). This is to ensure everyone has a chance to participate. We recommend choosing months that are most beneficial to your organization's programming or staffing timelines.
- You will be notified if your application has been approved after the 15th of the month preceding the First Friday you have been selected for (For example, if you are selected for March First Friday, you will be notified after February 15th). Applications will close around 9:00 AM on the 15th of the month.
