Job Summary:
- We are seeking an enthusiastic Ramah alum to build a community of Jewish young professionals several cities by planning social, religious, and educational events.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute 4-7 events per year
- Attend monthly check-in calls with NRC point-person to put together a calendar of events based on the needs of your community, create a budget for each event, and brainstorm recruitment and community-building strategies.
- After each event, fill out the Reshet Ramah Event Form, which includes submitting a recap of the event, photos, a list of attendees, and any receipts for reimbursement.
- Communicate with the professional team of the local Ramah camp about Reshet Ramah can meet the needs of their alumni. This might include organizing meetups between alumni in the area and the local camp’s leadership.
- Meet virtually twice each year with other Reshet Ramah City coordinators
Qualifications:
- Age 22-35
- An alum of a Ramah camp or program
- Experienced at event planning and/ or Jewish community-building
Compensation:
- $200 per event that takes place
