Anointed Scholars Summer Enrichment Program
Policy and Procedures Manual
Effective Date: June 16th- July 25th (Six Weekers) June 16th- August 8th, 2025. There is a built in extended week from August 11th -15th, 2025 for those families in need of extra weeks of enrichment. Extended weeks are on a first come first serves basis and can be purchased via our website a-scholarsinc.com on the Shop Page.
Attendance Policy
Daily attendance is expected.
Code of Conduct
All Anointed Scholars are expected to:
Demonstrate respect for peers, staff, and property.
Follow instructions the first time given.
Exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Uphold Christian values in behavior and speech.
Disciplinary Actions:
Verbal Warning
Written Notice
Parent Conference
Dismissal from Program (if behavior persists)
Dress Code
Modest, clean clothing appropriate for physical activity.
Closed-toe shoes required.
No offensive or inappropriate logos/messages.
Meals and Snacks
Breakfast and lunch will be provided daily.
Students may bring a healthy snack and water bottle.
Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
Drop-off begins at 8:30 a.m. Pick-up 4:30 p.m.
Late pick-ups beyond 4:35 p.m. will incur a late fee that will be due prior to next enrichment day.
Authorized persons must be listed in advance in writing, registration form, or via email
Parent/Guardian Communication
- Weekly newsletters will be sent via email or text.
- Online calendar and daily schedule
- Parent concerns can be addressed by appointment.
- Emergencies will be communicated immediately via phone/text.
Health and Safety
- Emergency contacts and medical forms must be on file before participation.
- COVID-19 and communicable disease protocols follow local health department guidelines.
- On-site staff certified in CPR and first aid.Volunteer and Staff Expectations
All staff and volunteers must complete background checks.Training in child development, safety protocols, and program philosophy is mandatory.
Field Trips & Special Events
- Permission slips required for all off-campus activities.
- Scholars must wear program T-shirts on trip days.
- Behavior expectations apply during all events.
Registration Fee: There is a one time registration fee added to each package selected. The registration fee covers (4) field trips, (1) T-shirts and day to day sports equipment and daily supplies. The registration fee is a spot holder deposit that is non-refundable
Group Sizes
Anointed Scholars Inc. will operate in-person programming with participants in small groups.
Group(s) will be limited to no more than 20 individuals between the ages of 6-12
Staff to participant ratios for 6-12 year olds 1:15
Outdoor programming will be prioritized
Parents/Guardians and Scholars must sign the Participation Agreement Form to confirm understanding of and compliance with this policy.
Health and Saftey & COVID-19 Protocol

Medical Forms: Each participants must have a school physical on file.
Medication: All medications must be sealed in it;s original container with a description of instructions by health care physician labelled with the participants name.
Anointed Scholars Inc. in-person programming will be operated in accordance with applicable guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), and Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH). Face Coverings/Masks
All participants and staff will be required to wear face coverings that cover both their nose and mouth at all time. If there is an outbreak of any contagious virus. Participants will need to bring their own face coverings that may be comfortably worn throughout the day if they are experiencing cold like symtoms but haven't been dignosed with having a contagious illness.
Hygiene Requirements
Anointed Scholars Inc. will follow the CDPH hygiene guidance to promote a healthy environment for staff and participants. Participants and staff will be required to wash their hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer regularly.
Daily Drop Off/Pick Up
It is advised to modify our drop off and pick up procedures. The following options include: Curbside/Parking Lot or Outdoor.
Self-Screening Checklist
Staff and participants are encouraged to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 and stay home if they feel sick. Staff and participants should also stay home if they have been in close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days. Prior to entering the facility all staff, patrons and participants will be asked to Self-Screen (parents are responsible for self-screening child(ren) by asking themselves the following questions each day:
Have you had a body temperature over 99.0 degrees Fahrenheit or have you used a fever reducer in the previous 24 hours to treat a body temperature over 100 degrees Fahrenheit?
Do you have a new cough that you cannot attribute to another health condition?
Do you have a new shortness of breath that you cannot attribute to another health condition?
Have you recently developed a complete loss of smell or taste?
Illness-COVID-19 Specific
In the event that it has been reported that a confirmed case of COVID-19 park staff will do the following, immediately:
Staff will call Risk Management and document
Parent will be notified
Child will be separated from pod and taken to the “Isolation Zone”
Area where child was will be cleaned and disinfected
Vaccinated Participants must adhere to the same policy and procedures set in place by Anointed Scholars Inc.
