To be eligible, both the nominee and nominator must be CDMA members in good standing. Nominees should meet the following criteria:
1. Demonstrates exceptional humanitarianism and good sportsmanship: in kennel management, training, racing (if a racer) and participation in other CDMA events;
2. Contributes to the sport of dog mushing through involvement in CDMA activities: volunteering for trail maintenance, community outreach, race and administrative support, or other volunteer efforts;
3. Must be nominated by TWO CDMA members in good standing during the normal election process each spring. Qualified nominees will be presented on the ballot.
