“I Slay” Stylist Stand-Off: Professionals

Best Braid Style - 30 mins

For this competition Stylists will have 30 minutes to complete a creative braid style.

Any braiding style is acceptable, the more creative the better. Extensions for filler braids and length are allowed.

Category competitors, professionals and sudents, will compete collectively but judged according to competition entry.

Note: Accessories, such as thread, yarn, rings, charms, colored hair sprays etc are permitted.

Best Updo / Upstyle - 50 mins

This competition is the place for all hair upstyled creative looks.

The competition task is to take a model and showcase skills in creating a updo, can be haute couture, wedding, pageant and/or runway ready.

Competitors will be judged on originality, intricacy of style, and overall look of the updo style.

Note: Accessories, such as thread, yarn, rings, charms, colored hair sprays etc are permitted.

Best Quick Weave Wig - 90 mins

This competition is for stylists who want to show their skill in making a custom wig.

To win this competition competitors must create a one-of-a-kind wig style with their model. At start of Competition models must have wig cap in place.

Finished looks will be judged on creativity, originality, and overall weave style.

Note: Accessories, such as thread, yarn, rings, charms, colored hair sprays etc are permitted.

For this competition Student Stylists will have 30 minutes to complete a creative braid style.

By sigining below and remtting payment you are acknowledging that the required license(s) are active and valid in your respective licensing state. Licensing will be confirmed and verified prior to competition. If it is determined that you are not in compliance with licensing, you understand that you will not be able to compete and will forefeit all monies paid.

All competitors and their models will be REQUIRED to sign a waiver of liability form prior to competiting. Refusal and/or failure to sign the waiver of liabiity will result in forefeiture of all monies paid.
