Welcome to the RAFGSA Chilterns Gliding Club (the “Club”). We are very pleased to welcome you to the Club. Please complete the required details below to fly with the Club as a temporary member to fly in gliders or aircraft as pilot in command or crew under instruction.
If you are under 18, this membership form must be countersigned by a parent or guardian, together with a copy of the Club Child Protection Policy.

General. You agree to be bound by and observe the RAFGSA Handbook, the RAF Halton Aerodrome Order Book, the CGC Handbook and the BGA's Laws and Rules provided at https://www.chilternsgc.co.uk, which together contain the rules and regulations of the Club, the RAFGSA and the BGA.

Medical Declaration. You agree to be bound by and observe the Mandatory Safety Rules and Medical Notes provided on the Club Website and note that you will be unable to fly as pilot in command unless the Club holds appropriate evidence showcasing your compliance with RAFGSA, BGA and CAA medical regulations.

Data Protection. You understand that your information will be used by the Club for club purposes and to ensure that you are kept informed about Club news and events, and that on occasion it is necessary to share information about our members with the British Gliding Association and the RAFGSA. More information about how we treat your personal information will be set out in the Club's Data Protection Policy, as amended from time to time.

Liability. Please note that gliding is considered to be a dangerous aviation activity. You should fly at the Club entirely at your own risk.

Under 18s. If you are under 18 years old, your Parent or Legal Guardian agrees to the above on your behalf and, by signing below, agrees to your participation in club activities and to be bound by and observe the rules and regulations of the Club (including the Club Child Protection Policy), the BGA and the RAFGSA.

Prices. These prices are accurate as of 1 April 2025. Please note that we reserve the right to amend these prices at short notice. Our latest prices are available at https://www.chilternsgc.co.uk/our-membership-and-fees and will be payable following your flight(s).

Please note that you will be sent a flying statement and invoice via the Chilterns Gliding Club Treasurer detailing the amount due and instructions on settlement.
