Registration Policy

1. Participants can choose to register as an individual or as a group (up to 5 participants per group).
2. For group registration, only the team leader needs to submit the application form.
3. For individual participants, you will be randomly assigned into a group of 4-5 (for case study).
4. All participants will be randomly shuffled during ice-breaking, simulation society, and game challenge. The registered group arrangement is only applicable for case study.
5. There will be no screening process for participants.
6. All participants are compulsory to participate in all of the activities organized under UMES 2023 unless valid justification is given.

1. Eligibility: The registration is only open to pre-university and undergraduate students studying in local or oversea institutions who are between the age of 17 and 26 years old. 

2. Group Arrangement: The registration is open on an individual or group basis (up to 5 participants per group).

3. Registration: By registering for this event, you acknowledge that all the information provided is accurate and complete. Any amendment of personal details can be done by emailing to publicity.umes23@gmail.com 

4. Commitment: By registering, participants should be aware of their commitments to the event. All participants should participate actively in all activities organized by UMES unless justification is given.

5. Payment: Payment for registration fee is required at the time of registration and is non-refundable. In the case of underpayment, UMES reserves the right to collect the underpaid amount according to the registration fee. Failure to pay for the underpaid amount will result in disqualification from the event and no refund will be made to the participants.

6. Promo code: Upon presenting the promotion code, a RM10 discount on the registration fee (per participant) will be automatically rewarded. The promotion code cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or discounts.

7. Withdrawal: No withdrawal is allowed after submitting the registration form. In case of absence in the event, no refund will be made to the participants.

8. Liability: UMES will not be responsible for any personal injury, loss or damage to personal property during the event.

9. Code of Conduct: Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times during the event. The event organizer reserves the right to remove any attendee who violates this code of conduct.

10. Media Release: By attending the event, you consent to the use of your image, voice, and likeness in any promotional materials related to the event.

11. Privacy: All information collected will be used for documentation purposes and be used only by UMES.

12. Modifications: The event organizer reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
