Primary, Beginner and Novice Competitions- Registration 8:45am. Dancing 9:30am.

Intermediate, Premier and Choreography Competitions- Registration 12:45pm. Dancing 1:30pm

1. Dance competition will be governed by the rules and regulations of the RSOBHD.
2. Advance registration is necessary. Dancers must enter by May 31, 2023. No exceptions.
3. No refunds of entry fees will be given. No exceptions
4. All Dancers must present a valid 2023 Scotdance card to dance. No Exceptions
5. Decision of the judge is final
6. No one other than competition committee may communicate with the judge
7. All age groups will be determined at the close of the entry.
8. Dancers will dance in inverse order of entry (first to enter last to dance)
9. Dancers must remain in costume to receive awards
10. An Aggregate trophy will be awarded in each class, except primary if there are at least three dancers in the age group.
11. Cash awards for Premier will be 1st place- $40, 2nd place- $30, 3rd place- $20. A special perpetual trophy and prize money will be awarded in memory of Kathleen McMaster by her family for the Premier Village Maid. 1st place- $50, 2nd place- $30, 3rd place- $20.
12. Any protest must be submitted in writing to the competition organizer, properly
    signed and accompanied by a fee of $20. It must be made immediately following the competition. If the protest is sustained the fee will be returned.

Event #26 will not count towards the aggregate trophy in each premier group. It will be run as a separate competition. 

$3.00 of each entry will go to ScotDance USA NW Region to help with Championships.

A 3% processing fee will be added to all orders. 

Premier Solo Choreography Rules 

1. Premier Solo Choreography is limited to Premier dancers only. 
2. Premier Solo Choreography will not be divided into age groups. 
3. Premier Solo Choreography is a maximum of 2.5 minutes, including entrance and exit. 
4. All music must be submitted electronically to heather.overright@gmail.com. Bring a backup copy on a memory stick or smart phone to the event.
5. Per RSOBHD rules, music may include vocal or percussion selections, but in all cases must be predominantly Scottish or Celtic in style. 

Group Choreography Rules

1. Group Choreography are open to any level. 
2. A Group Choreography must consist of at least three dancers. 
3. Group Choreography will not be divided into age groups. 
4. Group Choreography is a maximum of 3 minutes 0 seconds, including entrance and exit. 
5. All music must be submitted electronically to heather.overright@gmail.com. Bring a backup copy on a memory stick or smart phone to the event.
6. Per RSOBHD rules, music may include vocal or percussion selections, but in all cases must be predominantly Scottish or Celtic in style.

• 12 and over must purchase tickets. (11 and under free and do not need a ticket.)
