Grant Application - David Chilcott Fund - (parent/guardian version)
Who can apply?
The David Chilcott Fund has been set up to assist disadvantaged children and young people to attend Christian holidays and conferences who, without financial help, would be unable to attend.
Eligibility Criteria
- Children aged between 6-18 years old
- Attendance at a child or youth-based UK holiday, camp or conference with a Christian faith-based focus
The funding does NOT cover:
- Attendance at Christian holidays or conferences that are open to all ages
- Attendance at school residentials or family holidays, camps, events or festivals
- Attendance at activities organised by a church or group of churches
NB: Any bursaries awarded will be paid directly to the organisation running the residential.
NB: Bursaries are always given on the understanding that, should any recipient(s) be unable to attend, then the money for their holiday(s) will be returned for future applications.
We appreciate that due to the cost-of-living challenges that every family in the UK is facing, finances are tough for many. We would love to be able to give a bursary to every young person, however, as the fund is limited, we must prioritise the bursaries to those with the greatest financial need.
Please complete the following to help us understand your situation more so that we can fairly distribute our bursary funds to those in most need. Some of the questions below may seem intrusive, or may make you feel unqualified for the bursary, but please do not worry - we just want to understand your circumstances sufficiently to manage our funds correctly. As a registered charity, we are required to show that our handling of funds is clear, transparent and fair.
NB: If you have more than one young person - please complete a separate form for each. (Combined applications with more than one young person on this form will be rejected).
