    Please use this form to sign up for 2023 Summer Camps with the PCCB Naturalist. One form per junior camper; those with multiple campers will need to fill out multiple forms. Each camp has camper limits, you will receive an email confirmation when our sign ups are finalized.

I further understand that every effort will be made to contact me and/or my emergency contacts. I give permission for emergency care and transportation to the nearest hospital, if necessary. I agree that any cost incurred for any transportation and/or treatment will be my responsibility.

  • 2023 Summer Camps

    PCCB is offering some fun camps for a variety of ages this summer. Camps will have different locations, so be sure to look at where you camp is being held. The younger kids camps will be held at the Nature Center. Check the box of the camp your child would like to attend. Spots are limited.     • Critter Corner Camp 3-4 Year Olds

    • Critter Corner Camp

      This camp is for 3-4 year olds. This exploratory camp is a way for kids to learn about a variety of animals through stories, songs, games, and hikes. Each program an exciting new animal will come to visit. Each child MUST bring a parent, grandparent, or other favorite adult. New animals will attend each year. This camp will fall on each Friday of July (7th, 14th, 21st, 28th). Location of Camp - Nature Center (702 NW 7th St. Pocahontas, IA 50574)

      This camp is for 5-6 year olds. Campers will learn about the world of slime through hikes, games, crafts, and live animal visitors. Location of Camp - Rosenberger Park (702 NW 7th St. Pocahontas, IA 50574)

      This camp is for ages 7-8. Campers will learn about insects through games, hikes, crafts, and starting their own insect collections. Location of Camp - Rosenberger Park (702 NW 7th St. Pocahontas, IA 50574)
    • Native Discovery Camp 9-11 Year Old Boys

      This two day camp is for boys 9-11. Boys will learn about Native American hunting, cooking over a fire, native games, archery, and surviving off the land. Location of Camp - Cooper's Cove (South Entrance) (59415 330th Ave, Clare, IA 50524)
    • Little Pioneer Women Camp 9-11 Year Old Girls

      This two day camp is for girls age 9-11. Girls will learn what it was like to live in the time of Laura Ingalls-Wilder. They will learn how to cook goodies over the fire, basic plant id, how to churn butter, and everyday pioneer activities.
