The 1st Annual Family Nights at Grace June 6th-8th, 2023

"Vacation Bible School Reimagined"
At Grace Lutheran Church we are embracing an intergenerational view of ministry where we think it is important for families to learn and grow in their faith together. This year we will be transforming what used to be "Vacation Bible School" for kids into "Family Nights at Grace." We will eat a dinner together, have a large group lesson, family devotions, a choice of one breakout activity to do together each night, a large group game, a closing session and dessert. Our breakout sessions will include music, science, woodworking, crafts/baking, and reading/literacy help. Join us for this new adventure as we share in God's love for us found in Jesus Christ, and grow in our abilities to share Him with one another. Contact Pastor Smee for more details - (760) 375-9768

FAMILY DINNER

Each night our volunteers will provide a free Family Dinner for you and your students (Donations are welcome). Attendance is not expected but encouraged.

BREAKOUT SESSIONS

Each night that we gather, your family has the choice of attending one of five different activities. We ask that you join your children/students as they particpate. If you wish to split your family between activites, please contact Pastor Smee at (760) 375-9768.

INFORMED CONSENT, ACKOWLEDGEMENT, AND MEDICAL RELEASE
I hereby give my approval for my child's participation in any and all activities prepared by Grace Lutheran Church and staff/volunteers. I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless Grace Lutheran Church and all its respective officers, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from selected retreat/camp sessions. In case of injury to said child, I hereby waive all claims against Grace Lutheran Church including all staff and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers; and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event.*
In the event of an emergency, and the parent cannot be reached, I (we) the parent(s)or guardian(s) of the child/children listed above, do hereby authorize adult volunteers of Grace Lutheran Church as agent(s) for us, to consent to any medical or surgical care advisable by any accredited physician or surgeon in an approved emergency clinic or hospital.*
Permission is granted for Grace Lutheran Church to photograph my child and use such photographs for craft projects, slide shows, and all legal purposes (i.e. website or church directory).*
BY ACKNOWLEDGING AND SIGNING BELOW, I AM DELIVERING AN ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE THAT WILL HAVE THE SAME EFFECT AS AN ORIGINAL MANUAL PAPER SIGNATURE. THE ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE WILL BE EQUALLY AS BINDING AS AN ORIGINAL MANUAL PAPER SIGNATURE.*
