Thank you for applying for financial aid for Fiscal Year 2026 (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026).

We are committed to supporting members experiencing financial hardship. To ensure we can fairly assist all those in need and manage our aid budget responsibly, our process has changed this year. Even if you’ve received aid in the past, please review the updated guidelines below:

• Application Deadline: All financial aid applications are due by July 15, 2025. We are working with a limited budget and need to allocate our funding based on the uncertain economic climate in the DC area.  Applications submitted after 7/15 will be treated on a by exception basis only.
• Monthly Payment Policy: All members are now required to set up equal monthly payments from July 2025 through June 2026. We strongly encourage financial aid applicants to begin making monthly payments based on the amount they are requesting to pay. If you prefer to wait for your financial aid decision before setting up payments, you are welcome to do so —but you will need to establish your full payment plan within one week of receiving your decision.
• Notification of Awards: Decisions on applications submitted by the deadline will be shared no later than September 1, 2025.

We understand that many in our community are facing new financial pressures, particularly due to federal job losses and economic uncertainty. Please assess your actual need carefully when applying, so we can equitably support as many congregants as possible.
