    The Self-Study of Teacher Education Practices (S-STEP) International Biennial Conference

  • We are restricted to only accepting 120 this year because of renovations to the accommodation block.  

    Preference will be given to presenting conference delegates. 

    If you wish to attend as a non-presenter or partner, please email Jacqui Doyle at jacqui@confpeople.co.uk - and you will be placed on a wait list. 

    On 1 July we will open up that wait list and accept non-presenters and partners if space allows.

    The event starts on the Sunday night with a welcome BBQ (weather permitting) and finishes on Thursday morning for a Farewell Get Together (for those that don't need to leave for earlier flights). It is four nights.

    For the Gala Dinner there will be a cash bar available. On all other nights (including the BBQ) the Pub on-site will be open for purchasing beverages.

    Conference Registration Fee - delegates: £390.00

    Conference Registration Fee - non-delegates: £310.00

    Preference will be given to presenting conference delegates. Please see above how to register your interest as a partner.

  • BEDROOMS

    Please indicate which bedroom type you would prefer (please note this cannot be guaranteed - but we will do our utmost to accommodate your preference).

    The price is per person, for the duration of the event (four nights).

    If you are sharing a room with a colleague/partner, please indicate their name in the 'other' box.

    If your room sharer is a colleague who is also attending the conference, they will need to complete their own registration form - and enter your name in the 'other' box.

    Take the opportunity to experience the famous Seven Sisters.  The cost of this trip is £ 30.00 per person.

    13:30 Depart Herstmonceux Castle
    14:10 Arrive Beachy Head.  Stop here for 30 minutes to take in the views
    14:50 Arrive Birling Gap for the first views of the Seven Sisters
      Stop here for 25 minutes.  Rest room facilities available here
    15:15 Depart Birling Gap for Seaford Head 
    15:35 Arrive Seaford Head for the best views of the Seven Sisters
    16:45 Leave Seaford Head 
    17:30 Arrive at Herstmonceux Castle
