Further Update 06/07/2026:
The pre-employment Right to Work check must be conducted once the doctor's visa period has begun. If the check is conducted prior to this, the document will contain a notice that the document does not establish the doctor's right to work.
IMPORTANT UPDATE 19/03/2026:
The Right to Work Profile must be submitted to the AoMRC before the MTI doctor can commence their placement.
If an MTI doctor starts working before the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges (the visa sponsor) have a copy of the Right to Work Profile, this is punishable by a fine from the Home Office and may be considered as employing an illegal worker.
This form provides evidence that the MTI doctor has taken up the post for which they have been provided a Temporary Work - Government Authorised Exchange visa. It must only be completed by the doctor's employer, NOT the doctor themselves. Any starter report submitted by an MTI doctor will be rejected by the Academy.
