FBLA Collegiate Career Connections Conference is a fast paced, high-impact program focused on connecting talented individuals with leading employers. This is not just a meet and greet conference, it’s about learning what it takes to succeed in a challenging job market—interviewing techniques, building a personal brand, and navigating your early career.

Volunteer Opportunities
- Workshop Presenter - Volunteers are invited to propose workshop topics that would help college students make a smooth transition from school to career. Topics might include networking, resume writing, interviewing best practices, leadership skills in a new role, recruitment, etc.
- When: Friday and/or Saturday Morning
- Panelists - Panels engage multiple speakers in a discussion about a common theme and each panelist should offer a unique perspective.
- Landing the Job - Individuals who have served in some capacity related to hiring e.g. recruiters, hiring managers, etc.
- Young Professionals Panel - Individuals who have entered the workforce within the last 5 years
- Executive Leadership Panel - Individuals who have served in leadership roles at their respective companies
- When: Friday and/or Saturday Morning
- Resume Reviewer - Volunteers are invited to provide feedback on resumes and/or LinkedIn profiles to members of our college division in a one-on-one setting. Each session will last approximately 20 minutes and reviewers will be provided with an advisory guide with tips for feedback.
- When: Thursday Afternoon and/or Saturday Morning
- Case Study Judges - Volunteers are invited to judge student presentations during our case study competitions in the areas of finance, accounting, and hospitality & tourism. Judges will receive training and will be provided scoring rubrics.
- Networking Reception - Volunteers are invited to attend a networking receptioTime: n in which current students will have the opportunity to put their networking skills to the test and meet both other FBLA Collegiate members and members of the business community with the goal of building connections that could support their professional development.
- When: Friday Evening (Des Moines) and Thursday Evening (Charlotte)
Business Engagement
- Business Tours - Host a group of students for a 1-2 hour tour of your business. FBLA will provide tips and resources for planning the tour. Businesses are encouraged to share information about the various jobs at their company and provide insight into their company culture.
- When: Thursday Afternoon (Des Moines) and Friday Afternoon (Charlotte)
- Career Fair and/or Exhibitor - Connect with young talent and promote your brand by exhibiting during the Career Fair. Tables are $150 each until August 30, $200 after August 30.
